In reply to Terri. I'm guilty, like many entrepreneurs, of burning the candle at both ends. When I was younger with a lot more energy than I have now, I actually enjoyed it a lot because it kept my life interesting. As I get older, I am struck more and more with the feeling that my purpose in life is to give back to society. Now I wrestle with taking on too much volunteer "stuff" while still trying to run my businesses. I do get to smell the roses a lot more than I used to, Terri. Sometimes it's just a drive-by smell, but I do get a few long inhales every once in a while. Life is so much better when we slow down enough to enjoy it.

ABC News provided information about a Warren Buffett interview that touched on investing in yourself. The articles says:
At a time when many college graduates face uncertain futures and are struggling to find jobs, Buffett said he still believes that “investing in yourself is the best thing you can do. Anything that improves your own talents. And I always advise students to do that, high school students, college students and obviously investing in your children is, in some ways, investing in yourself.”
No matter what happens in the economy, “if you have true talent yourself, and you have maximized your talent, you have a terrific asset.”
